TEC 40 DIVER
The PADI Tec 40 Diver Course
The Tec 40 Diver course is an entry-level tec course that is the bridge between recreational and technical diving. During the course you learn to:

Plan and make decompression dives with not more than 10 minutes of decompression using a decompression gas, or not more than 15 minutes of decompression using bottom gas, and not deeper than 40 metres/130 feet.

Dive with a redundant gas source, either single cylinder plus bailout cylinder, sidemount or back mount doubles.
 -
Use a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 50 percent oxygen (EANx50) for decompression.

TEC 45 DIVER
The PADI Tec 45 Diver Course
The Tec 45 Diver course is the second step in the PADI® Tec Diver program. To enroll in this course, you need to be a Tec 40 Diver (see Diver Prerequisites below) or may be completing the Tec Diver program as a set of consecutive courses.
During the course you learn to:

Plan and make decompression dives using full open circuit technical diving equipment, sidemount or back mount doubles plus a deco cylinder, not deeper than 45 metres/150 feet.

Use a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 100 percent oxygen for decompression.

TEC 50 DIVER
The PADI Tec 50 Diver Course
The Tec 50 Diver course is the final course in the PADI® Tec Diver program and prerequisite to the PADI Tec Trimix Diver program. To enroll in this course, you need to be a Tec 45 Diver (see Diver Prerequisites) or may be completing the Tec Diver program as linked courses.
During the course you learn to:

SIDEMOUNT DIVER
PADI Sidemount Diver Course
In the PADI Sidemount Diver course, you learn to plan and make no stop recreational dives using sidemount configuration for one or two cylinders. The emphasis is on enjoying the benefits of sidemount for recreational, no stop diving. What you’ll learn includes:

DSAT GAS BLENDER
The Tec Gas Blender course teaches you to blend enriched air nitrox and helium-blend gases using one or more blending methods. Being the blender is a key job at a busy PADI Dive Center or Resort and your work allows other divers to do what they love to do - scuba dive.
If you're a PADI Enriched Air Diver and are at least 18 years old, you can enroll in a Tec Gas Blender course.

Academic
The Tec Gas Blender course includes three practical application sessions, but no dives.
During independent study and instructor-led review, you learn:

About the advantages and disadvantages of different blending methodologies.

To blend enriched air and trimix blends to within one percent of the target mix.

About the potential hazards related to handling oxygen, and how to manage those risks.

To demonstrate the steps for oxygen cleaning equipment, along with the requirements for oxygen service.
